Most people who are new to Internet marketing start their online business with great optimism and a burning desire to succeed. They have great hopes, big plans and huge dreams! But unfortunately, 80 % of them will never make a penny. In fact, 95% of them will close their Internet business in the first year. The reason is simple; they lack the necessary tools, knowledge, and motivation required to succeed.

If you truly want to be successful, it is absolutely essential that you have a coach. In addition, you need to find somebody with whom you can work. It doesn’t matter if Tiger Woods offers to teach you how to play golf, if you can’t work with him, you won’t get the results for which you are looking.
A Business Coach should encourage you to follow your inner voice. Utilize the resources your coach has to offer. That’s what you are paying for. If you value financial freedom, you will come to realize that having a business coach is pretty much a necessity today. You can’t do it all alone. We are all meant to shine. Your coach will help you do just that. Remember, you are powerful beyond measure.
So… you’ve got your brand spanking new website all set up and ready to go. But is it designed with your target market in mind? Does it do a good job of capturing visitor data? Is it optimized for search engines? An internet marketing coach, much like a golfing instructor who watches your swing to correct it, can take a look and give you immediate pointers, then focus on those areas in which your skills are lacking.
Last but most important, hire a qualified, experienced, friendly internet marketing coach. Your coach will guide and direct you to a prosperous end. Follow your coach’s teachings and methods for at least 6 months to a year. Notice the results. If they are appearing, stay with that coach!
Self Analysis: As the business owner, it’s time to take a close look at your strengths and weaknesses. While we don’t like to admit we’re weak in some areas, some business owners are equally as reluctant to identify their strengths! Make a list. Figure out what areas you’re strong in and what in areas could you use help.
Whatever you’ve been doing isn’t working. Newspaper ads, yellow pages, direct mail, magazines, and networking. You’re doing it all, yet you still don’t have all the business you want or need and your pipeline is empty. Maybe it’s time to get some outside help.
It’s simple… your clients will hire THE MOST VALUABLE coach they can find. Therefore, coaches who say “I am a technology coach” show no value. And those that say something like “helping _________[name your clear, specific target market] make another $100K within a couple of months.” Is a marketing message that tells them what is likely, or what is possible.
Investable opportunities. What offerings does the coach have beyond the most expensive core package? Look for free or less expensive ways to experience this person’s style and knowledge before making the plunge. This could be a free tele-class or audio recording, a speaking engagement, or a low-cost class offering. The coach may also offer a laser session; if that’s the case make sure they have some pre-work for you to complete prior to meeting. This could be a questionnaire, assessment, or mini-course. That’s the only way for them to really get to know you and ask the right questions.

You will be using the tips that they share, therefore you need to make sure that your coach has spent several years in the industry. They must be very successful in this field so that they can be a credible source of information. Otherwise, you will not be able to rely on the information they provide, as they do not have the experience to back up what is being taught.
In fact, we also suggest that you practice by being on the receiving end of some coaching as well. That’s right. Part of our model is to have our students coach others. But we also give them opportunities to be technology coach. That allows them to experience the feeling of being asked questions and getting to use powerful tools.
So to ensure that your Internet marketing coach will deliver what you want, you need to first hire the right guy. This means understanding their track record, what they actually offer and the feedback from other students.
