Expecting The Best From Business Coaching

How long have they been coaching clients? – Make sure that you are not client number one. You also want to be careful with coaches that have been in the business for 20 years. A lot has changed in the last 5 years and you need to make sure they are up to date on technology coach, systems, and the evolution of marketing.

At the end of the day, a coach or mentor means nothing if you don’t have the sheer determination to do what it takes to get to the finish line. Both can give you a blueprint, share tips and maybe give you the occasional pep talk but it will be YOU that will have to put your butt in gear and make it happen.

Would you like to build an online business? Have you started, but it’s just not getting results? Or have you never really gotten your business off the ground. Consider getting a coach to help you along. Just be sure to get the right kind of coach.

3) Follow up is when your “paid sessions” have all been used. Now what? Are you supposed to be satisfied with e-mail support only? If that is their answer then all I have to say is “BIG WHOOP”. No what you should expect is both email support and a call from time to time to help clarify issues you might be having.

You know what marketing is, right? Bet you think it’s something that is best done by large marketing companies or by hiring a marketing guru. After all, there are whole college degrees that can be achieved where the main goal is to get that job as a marketing or advertising executive.

I came back the next morning to find the jeans a perfect shade of sky blue. As I pulled them out of the tub I had a big smile on my face and a sense of deep satisfaction in my heart. I had done it. I had achieved my goal and I’d done it in a fraction of the time I thought it would take.

A network marketing coach can give us perspective. We are too close to see things objectively. We are caught up in the emotions of the situation-the fear, the excitement, the wonder, the anxiety, and the confusion. A coach is detached and can see things from a distance. Experience plus time equals wisdom. A coach can give us the wisdom of a lifetime of experience.

Make it harder for new agents to enter the business. Embrace technology coach. Educate yourself with many techniques to get a deal done and most importantly understand there is NO business that can be successful without understanding the value of marketing and personal investment. MARKETING IS EVERYTHING!

A Marketing Coach can do the same for your business. They’ll help you to build a foundation for sustainable, scalable growth to create financial stability and independence for you and your family in the future. They’ll give you an assessment, help you to define your goals, put in place an action plan with milestones and monitoring. And hold you accountable to stick to your commitments in order to achieve those goals.

There’s a great expression I heard recently, which I thought totally summed up the way that people try to reach their fortune “Tripping over dollars to pick up dimes” and that’s exactly what I want to talk to you about today.

Once a Marketing Coach identifies the problem he or she will be able to identify the root cause. That is important because if you continue to fix the symptom, you will keep having the problem. As an example, if you have cash flow problems that is a symptom. What’s the root cause? Is it collections, are your prices too low, are your costs too high? There can be many causes and until you fix those, you’ll never improve.

Speed and Availability – You need a coach who can work at the speed of business now and is easily available when you need them. Most coaching takes place via the phone. Some clients want to be on IM with me. We do lots of sharing of information and building our coaching call agendas via email. We use all the forms of communication that will serve us best and we use it often during the week and during the coaching engagement.

I have found that creating a group that helps each member’s business has been a great way to have numerous opinions about your business and give them feedback about their business. This way there is a give and take relationship. A group like this I have found has been extremely beneficial. The members give ideas to each other on a regular basis; while ideas are being shared to one business owner you can adapt those ideas for your business. Working as a team and having numerous coaches allows you to gain a vast amount of knowledge and in short span of time. The key to this group is to keep it going and having a good mediator to move the meeting along and not to focus on one business for too long.

A network marketing coach gives us patience. In learning any new skill, there is a learning curve. A coach can teach us patience as we struggle through failure to achieve mastery. Do you know of any successful person who doesn’t have a mentor?

One of the most important things a business coach will do for you is to give you an objective look at your business. He or she will show you what is working and what is not and point out the root cause. It is very difficult to do this on your own because you’re too close to it and too emotionally involved. As an owner you will see the same things in the same way and overlook things that may be obvious to a business coach. When you try to do the same thing in the same way, you will get the same results.
