A few of these sensors are contact sensors. “We didn’t need you to really feel like you have been discovering a sensor or pushing a button or one thing,” Sosoka explains, “so one of the things that we did is we put eight capacitive sensors in … capacitive contact sensors like typically [are] on lights … or on your iPod.” Finding a manner to make use of these sensors was a challenge. “If you are snowboarding you go to press your iPod through your gloves, it does not work because it isn’t pressure that does it.
